STEM Camp is a free camp offered by Jefferson County Schools for students in grades 3-8 at the Jefferson Middle School campus.  Sign up quickly for this camp as space is limited and fills up quickly!  Parents will need to provide transportation to JMS.

 

CTE Camp is a free camp offered by Jefferson County Schools for students who have completed 6,7 and 8th grades at the Jefferson County High School Campus.  Transportation is provided from the middle schools for this camp.  Applications must be completed by April 15th.

 

4-H Camp is offered by UT extension for students who have completed 4th-6th grades.  Jefferson County students will be attending camp at the Clyde Austin 4-H center in Greenville, TN from June 10-14th.  Contact the extension office at 397-2969 for more details.

 

Parrott-Wood Library is offering Science fun activities in conjunction with the American Museum of Science and Energy on June 4, 11, 18, July 2 and 9th from 12-2PM

Legos, robots and more will be offered in the Bricks for Kidz program on July 11, 16, 18 and 23rd from 12-2PM

Sciencetopia at the Library covering the areas of Physics, chemistry, biology and the environment will take place on the Thursdays of June 6, 13, 20 and 27th from 12-2PM

Girls, Inc. of Hamblen Co. will visit Parrott-Wood to present Whacky Science for Girls (ages 6-9) on June 6, 13, 20 and 27th from 2:30-4:30.  Registration is required for this event.  Registration forms were sent home with students.  Contact the library at 933-1311 for more info.  The library website is www.jcpls.org
